“Instead of a war on poverty, they got a war on drugs so the police can bother me.”

The 5th National Harm Reduction Conference
New Orleans, LA - November 2004

Here is the video footage of my speech on how anti-ecstasy laws have negatively affected the rave scene. It was part of a panel that moderator and good friend Melissa Martin and I helped organize on the general demonization of youth culture in the drug war. Below the videos are photos of other wonderful moments from that conference.

when she worked for the Harm Reduction Coalition.
She was also a fellow speaker on the youth issues panel.

Kicking it with DanceSafe members from New York, Atlanta, and St Louis.

Forget the conference. We're hungry, it's time for dinner! Our destination:
New Orleans sushi!! It's good, but Bay Area sushi's way better. Sitting with
me are fellow DanceSafe members from New York, Atlanta, and St Louis.
