"Treat your friends as you do your pictures, and place them in their best light."
                                                        - Jennie Jerome Churchill (mother of Winston Churchill)
Here's some fun and even embarassing memoirs of my party days, old and new! Go here for articles on the commercialization of raves during my first few years in the scene. Please wait for all the images to load.

Scott (cop) and Steve (red Homer) of the D.C.-based organization Flex Your Rights
were in town for a couple of different events.
They ended up crashing at my apartment the whole week. These are shots from our night out in the Castro in San Francisco.
We ran into our friends Meredith (guard) and Lauren (schoolgirl) - Monday, Halloween night 2005
No, we were not at a rave, although I'm suspicious of what Oliver (the one with
the hat) was sniffing off of his hands. Ha ha ha!!! Seriously, it was better than
a rave! Sasha Shulgin (4th from left in the first picture) is a psychedelic chemist
best known for introducing MDMA (ecstasy) to the psychotherapeutic community
during the 1970s. He granted us youngin's the honor of attending his annual Easter
party at his home on the hills of Lafayette, CA - a misty Sunday, March 27, 2005

November 6, 2004: I practically never do anything for my birthday.
But since I was turning 25 (a quarter of a century old) and the
date fell on a Saturday that year, I decided to throw a little party.
Too bad hotel security came and kicked everyone out at midnight.

Sarah and I at Super Friends, a small party thrown by DJ Happy Kid Marty in September 2001.
The bad news was that the voiceline announced the directions to the event the night of and
it turned out to be nearly three hours north of the Bay Area (past Sacramento). The good news
was that the party turned out to be really fun. It was held at a venue similar to Chucky Cheese's,
so there were all these mazes and little funhouses to play in. Too bad I didn't roll that night.
Legend, a party by the Happy Kids crew at the Oakland Ice Center, July 14, 2001. I do not know the girl on the far
left, but she was wearing colorful bracelets just like me, so I felt like hugging her. As for the picture on the right?
Well, let's just say if you ever wanted to blackmail me for anything, this would be a good piece of evidence.
